This article will explain the autostart file and why it is important to autostart your personal applications.
CTRL + H will show you the ~/.config/openbox folder. This folder is where all the core files are for openbox.
Autostart is the file that contains all the application or services that we want or need to boot in order to have a fully functional desktop.
I will explain how XRANDR works. VirtualBox forgets from time to time my standard resolution of my screen. With these lines I set the resolution inside my virtual machine
# only for virtualbox xrandr --output VGA-1 --mode 1920x1080
We will go over every line and explain why it is in there.
Future configurations are likely to differ.
Check if you have this to make it possible that pamac-updater works. If you applied my personal settings you will have it. Otherswise you will need this change in order to be able to login as root and install the updates.
